10up Senior Front End Engineers actively develops and maintains 10up external and internal projects with their advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They are adept at building large-scale modular applications. They are experienced in interpreting designs and crafting solid, reusable, and maintainable HTML and CSS for enterprise clients. They effectively consult with Designers on how to design for the web.



  • Transform visual comps into rich web interactions that are fluidly responsive, performant, semantic, and accessible.

  • Ability to implement designs and advanced UI concepts that align with current industry and project accessibility standards.

  • Drive strategy and lead front end technical vision for large projects.

  • Ability to identify challenging areas on projects and identify alternatives.

  • Collaborate with visual and user experience designers on wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready web experiences.

  • Evaluate design deliverables for build feasibility and provide constructive feedback to internal, clientside, and third-party designers, user experience designers, and project managers.

  • Perform cross-browser testing and remediation for front-end performance and visual quality assurance.

  • Partner with UX designers, web engineers, and managers to move a project through development and launch.

  • Mentor other engineers and provide code reviews.



  • At least five years experience with front-end engineering, web development, web engineering, or a similar field.

  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS (Sass) including cross-browser compatibility and WCAG accessibility compliance.

  • Ability to write modern, performant, and accessible JavaScript using latest technologies, preferably experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks.

  • Code portfolio. Link us to your GitHub account, upload a .zip, or both (original files are helpful to get a sense of your PHP code structure and file organization).

  • Experience using Git.

  • Proven ability to transform a static comp into a website from the ground up.

  • Being collaborative, self-motivated, and an "always-learning" person, excited to create great web experiences.

  • Basic understanding of ad implementations.
